Dyson Canada Unveils First Heatless Hair Straightener

TORONTO, Oct. 3, 2024 – Dyson Canada has announced the release of the latest addition to its haircare lineup: the world’s first heatless hair straightener. The Airstrait™ uses innovative pressure technology to straighten hair without the need for heat, offering a revolutionary approach to styling.

“We aim to provide our customers with the best products that are built to last,” said CEO John Smith. “The Airstrait™ is a testament to that commitment. We have spent the last three years developing Dyson’s patented pressure technology, which straightens hair without causing damage.”

Dyson has established itself as a leader in the haircare industry, following the success of its Airwrap™, which sold over 2 million units nationwide on the day of its release. The Airstrait™ will be available in all Sephora stores across Ontario on Oct. 6 and will retail for $700.
